Phnom Penh, September 28th 2018 The concept of the Photo Phnom Penh Festival is based upon the idea and necessity of building bridges between Asian and European artists. This year, 4 local and 10 international artists from Europe, Asia and the US will exhibit their work and meet during the festival to share their experiences and their stories, in order to inspire young people to continue their knowledge and practice of photography. This year, Charles Fréger (France), JH Engström (Sweden), Yan Ming(China), Alexey Shlyk (Belarus), Floriane de Lassée (France), Daesung Lee (South Korea), Olivier Culmann (France), Lim Sokchanlina (Cambodia), Ly Min also called Lamo (Cambodia), Michael Vickery (United States), Yoshinori Mizutani (Japan), Mak Remissa (Cambodia), Suong Mardy (Cambodia) and Watsamon Tri-Yasakda (Thailand) have all been invited to present and showcase their work all around the Cambodian capital. The 3-day launch of the festival will be held on the 05th, 06th and 07th of October, with the festival running until November 05, 2018.
